How do you think this technology works? And how would it work if we could recreate in a non-invasive way? Do you think sony is on to something with there patented method of shooting low pulses of ultrasound onto the brain? How do you think virtual reality from the matrix trilogy works?
I like the other guys answer also. But heres my take. The Matrix is a computer generated dream world. I assume that the impulses it inserts into the brain are perceived by the sub conscious. The person that is in the Matrix is like how you see yourself in a dream. It is a subconscious view of yourself (how your mind perceives you). Ultrasound is just a high pitched sound that bounces back and forth between a constant (transducer). Sending images into the brain is as easy as the function of the eyes. It is the transit system that has to be worked on. It would be almost like inducing someone into a coma with medication. You would be inducing them into a dream with electrical impulses that carried images and sound straight to the brain. It is not a far fetched technology, just not ready for our time. How do you think virtual reality from the matrix trilogy works?
Heres how it works: the operator stimulates brain cells that are moved into a virtual area, the matrix. The cells then recreate the persons body, so there literally in two places at once. The cells come from the brain, so everything that happens it recoginises %26amp; can reatct faster to. Well, thats what I think it is.
