Thanks! XxxXWho is your favourite character in the lord of the rings trilogy and why?
Gimli and legolas' relationship i found great, but aragon was my fave characterWho is your favourite character in the lord of the rings trilogy and why?
.
King Theoden - he transforms from a vile, corrupt puppet monarch ruled by the hand of Sauron, to a brave, noble, and mighty king who puts aside petty grievances and answers the call for aid of Gondor. He also sacrifices his life for the cause.
Faramir. He's my heroe and he looks yummie :)
The main character,for Obvious reasons.
Gollum, his multi personality scenes are hilarious!
or Gimli, gotta love his lines!
The Witch King - I just cant get over how badass he looks.
Gimli? He's got some great one-liners. :P and also Denethor, his descent into madness is hilarious. :P
I rather like Tom Bombadil. A faery type character who rules some ancient woods and barrow wights? Sounds OK to me.
Aragon - all round legend, makes me wana touch myslef
First, Lord of the Rings is not a trilogy. It's a single volume split into three distinct books. If you read the introduction in the book, that's the very first line.
Anyway. I have several favorites: Gandalf; for more reasons than I can mention in this tiny post. But the main one is that just when you think you've got him figured out, he does something to completely change your perception of him. It's fantastic.
Next is a combination of Eowyn and Goldberry; they embody all aspects of pure womanhood, the strength, the nurturing, the sorrow and the joy. Put them together and they make the perfect example of femininity.
Faramir is next. His strength even when faced with the thing that destroyed his brother's mind is astounding. He is strong and kind and exactly the sort of man you'd want on your side in a tight spot.
Merry and Pippin of course are in this list: their inquenchable joy and cheerfullness regardless of the dangers they've faced. They are the pure embodiment of innocence. I just love them.
